Low Energy Is Common — Especially Early On
Fatigue is one of the more common side effects, especially in the first few weeks or after a dose change. On days like this, the goal isn't to push through a full workout — it's to stay gently active in whatever way your body allows.
Key takeaway: Something almost always beats nothing. A short walk or a few minutes of stretching still supports your progress, even when a full workout isn't realistic.
Lower-Energy Alternatives
- A slow 10–15 minute walk, indoors or outside.
- Gentle stretching or mobility work.
- A few sets of seated exercises (leg extensions, seated marches, arm raises).
- Light household movement — cleaning, gardening, or errands all count.
Listening to Your Body
- It's okay to shorten or skip a planned strength session if you're truly running on empty — just don't let one low day turn into a long stretch of no movement.
- Hydration and eating enough (even with a smaller appetite) can also help with energy — see our Nutrition handouts.
- Fatigue tends to ease as your body adjusts to your current dose.
