Most side effects on GLP-1 medications are mild and temporary — but knowing the difference between “uncomfortable” and “concerning” helps you know when to reach out.
Message Us Rather Than Waiting If You Have:
- Nausea or vomiting that keeps you from keeping fluids down for more than a few hours.
- Severe or worsening abdominal pain.
- No bowel movement for several days, especially with pain or bloating.
- Signs of dehydration: dizziness, very dark urine, or unusual weakness.
- Redness, swelling, or pain at an injection site that seems to be getting worse.
- Fatigue that's severe, constant, or paired with other new symptoms.
- Any new or unusual symptom you're unsure about.
- You don't need to wait for a scheduled check-in for any of these — message us and we'll help you figure out next steps.
Seek Emergency Care Right Away For:
Go to the ER or call 911 if you experience: severe abdominal pain that doesn't go away (especially if it spreads to your back), persistent vomiting you can't control, signs of a serious allergic reaction (swelling of the face, lips, or throat, difficulty breathing, or hives), chest pain, or a rapid or irregular heartbeat. These situations need immediate medical attention — don't wait for a message reply.
